Part-Time Content Creation & Market Research Assistant (Contract)

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photo and video content using your own smartphone or camera at the partner’s location in Accra for use on social media and digital platforms
• Attend approved events, launches, or promotional activities to capture content, which may occasionally take place on weekends or public holidays
• Engage confidently and professionally with on-site staff, brand ambassadors, and other participants to capture authentic content
• Collaborate with the AmpleCo. team to execute pre-planned content ideas aligned with the brand’s goals and content calendar
• Conduct market and competitor research to support content planning and provide insights into local trends and audience behavior
• Organize and submit content files clearly and on time, and complete basic content editing when required
• Share regular updates and feedback via WhatsApp, Slack, or agreed-upon video check-ins
• Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when working with client brands
• Appear on camera occasionally if comfortable and agreed upon in advance

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Ability to capture quality photo and video content using your own smartphone or camera
• Comfort with basic video editing tools such as CapCut or similar
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with others on-site to support content capture
• Good understanding of Ghanaian culture, consumer behavior, and local trends
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently with remote direction
• Availability to attend occasional client events or on-site visits in Accra
• Previous experience in content creation, marketing, media, or communications is an advantage

Compensation

• Part-time independent contractor position for an initial 11-month term, with potential for extension.
• Monthly compensation: GHS 2,300, based on approximately 15-18 hours per week.
• Monthly data stipend will be provided to support work-related connectivity.
• Additional allowances may be provided for approved travel or special event coverage.
• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and statutory obligations.
