Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Twitter Management:
- Take charge of FIA’s Twitter page by creating and scheduling engaging content.
- Monitor trends in agriculture and align our posts to create meaningful conversations.
- Grow and engage the Twitter community by responding to comments and interacting with followers.
Content Creation and Story Development:
- Identify, develop, and write production-worthy stories on agriculture, youth empowerment, and climate resilience.
- Collaborate with the production team to convert stories into digital content for our platforms.
- Draft insightful and creative Twitter threads, captions, and announcements that align with FIA’s brand voice.
Research for Panel Discussions:
- Conduct thorough research on relevant agricultural themes to support FIA's panel discussions with stakeholders.
- Analyze and summarize research findings, providing insights and recommendations for discussion topics.
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and issues affecting livestock farmers.
Clientele Database Expansion:
- Correspond with livestock farmers across the country to build relationships and gather data for FIA’s clientele database.
- Research and document profiles of farmers, farming practices, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Maintain and update the clientele database, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Assist in liaising with agricultural influencers, experts, and stakeholders for collaborative opportunities.
- Support correspondence with partners, sponsors, and relevant institutions to foster ongoing engagement.
Social Media Analytics and Strategy:
- Track social media metrics and analytics to assess the performance of content on Twitter.
- Provide insights on audience engagement, and suggest strategies for improvement.
- Help implement strategies to increase visibility, reach, and overall impact on Twitter.
Support for Company Initiatives:
- Assist with the Youth Livestock Empowerment Initiative (YLEI) by researching related themes, preparing communication materials, and promoting the program through FIA’s social media.
- Contribute to the development of FIA’s communication campaigns focused on youth empowerment, gender inclusion, and sustainable agriculture.
