Job Summary

The operational marketing manager is responsible for implementing the company's e-marketing and multi-channel strategy (market, product, positioning, distribution) and for ensuring the operational follow-up of projects (online, offline and mobile). He/she contributes to the optimization, development of sales, and profitability of his/her company.

Definition and application of the multichannel marketing action policy

  • Establish with the strategic marketing department, the strategy of the marketing mix (product, price, distribution, promotion) on all online and offline channels.
  • Choose the communication vectors adapted to the launch of the product (advertisements, media plan, promotional events).
  • Build the operational marketing plan: manage and deploy the promotional schedule.
  • Define the positioning of offers in the market and select the target segments of commercial offers.
  • Ensure the adequacy of marketing actions with the expectations of customers and prospects.


Management of the commercial communication plan

  • Participate in the definition of the objectives of commercial communication.
  • Choose the communication vectors adapted to the launch of the product (advertisements, media plan, promotional events).
  • Organize trade fairs, seminars, user conferences.
  • Update the content of promotional communication media (email, mail, newsletter, article writing, etc.).
  • Ensure the visibility of the company's products and services to prospects.


Advice, accompaniment and sales assistance for sales representatives

  • Support commercial and communication services to provide them with technical expertise when designing or launching new products.
  • Develop commercial tools and arguments for the sales force.
  • Define the form and content of sales support materials (information and advertisements at the points of sale, offer kit, brochures, product sheets, catalogs, etc.).
  • Manage the supply system for all communication media.
  • Plan, prepare and coordinate the company's presence at trade fairs, manage press relations.


Evolution and management of operational marketing tools

  • Manage the optimization and maintenance of websites, extranet, portal...
  • Improve site visibility: traffic acquisition and SEO.
  • Manage the creation, implementation and monitoring of new digital media in a multichannel environment.
  • Deploy an animation plan (editorial content, promotional operations, contests...) on various digital media (mobile, tablet, social networks).
  • Create new spaces for online exchange: discussion forums, blogs, community animation on social networks.
  • Manage the development, implementation and monitoring of a marketing and sales CRM tool.


Measuring the impact and effectiveness of the means deployed

  • Assist in the definition of objectives and performance indicators.
  • Design activity dashboards.
  • Measure and analyze performance indicators (R.O.I. analysis among others).
  • Optimize the means implemented according to the results and implement corrective measures if necessary.


Technology watch, business intelligence and market research

  • Track the evolution of consumer behaviors on the web.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence on the positioning of competitors and on the tools used.
  • Carry out market research to propose action plans and product evolution.


Management of external partnerships and negotiation of contracts

  • Choose suppliers and service providers for communication actions: drafting and launching calls for tenders.
  • Negotiate and monitor the implementation of contracts with service providers and communication agencies.


Budget management

  • Negotiate operational budgets with the branch.
  • Develop, deploy and monitor the execution of operational schedules.


Others

  • Actively participate in the company's projects and in the design and deployment of new products.
  • Participate in the definition of the product merchandising plan.
  • Be responsible for negotiating commercial partnership contracts with institutions, corporations or companies, foreign partners.
