Job Summary

As a social/digital marketer with proven experience in the creator economy, you will contribute to the development of verticalized teams to grow as subject matter experts while growing new business revenue for key clients and accounts. Teammates will look to you for guidance on client proposal work, vertical expertise as you oversee their development and success at Captiv8, collaborating closely with the Head of Creative Strategy on cohesive department development. You’ll represent Captiv8 expertise to cross-functional stakeholders as well as represent Captiv8 externally to Client partners as a thought-leader in the space.

Job Description/Requirements


Strategic Planning & Growth 50%
  • Lead dynamic influencer media strategies for Key Strategic Accounts & Enterprise clients across all verticals including CPG, Health/Beauty, Pharma, Automotive, and Technology
  • Provide senior-level strategy direction on high-value key strategic accounts amongst Inter-Agency teams in collaboration with Account Management & Brand Partnerships
  • Develop new productized service offeriofferingsdrive drivesusiness demand, increase win rate, and guide clients around innovative trends in the social/digital ecosystem
  • Develop thought leadership, proactive offerings around cultural tentpole moments (i.e. Coachella, back to school, holiday), and other ‘buyable’ creative strategies that enables sales & contributes to sales strategy across the creator economy and advertising industry.

Team & Department Development 35%

  • Foster individual development of team members through feedback, coaching, goal setting, and leadership to drive performance & innovation
  • Lead day-to-day operations of verticalized pod(s), optimizing toward win rate, revenue growth, and client satisfaction
  • Management of team resources & responsible growthIdentify, audit, and onboard new tools/resources to facilitate effective strategic development (i.e. eMarketer, Mintel, Comscore, netbase)

Project Management & Facilitation 15%

  • Ability to identify potential roadblocks and hurdles to feasibility and coach cross-functional teams to address needs proactively
  • Drive quarterly strategic initiative projects for team and Captiv8 growth working cross-functionally with various teams such as, Talent Management, Product, & Brand Management
  • A true facilitator for meetings, discussions, brainstorms for strategy team that inspires curiosity and drives action across the team
  • Collaborates with other cross functional team leads & directors to solve challenges & drive innovation opportunities

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
    • 7-10 years experience working in social media planning + influencer marketing (including paid media + strategy development)
    • Proven leader and individual contributor in the digital/social media and branded content landscape with a strong pulse on influencer trends, social behavior, and platform features (Instagram/Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest and Linkedin)
    • Proven leader in to persuasion & relationship building of senior-level clients & agency counterparts at the Enterprise level
    • Entrepreneurial spirit to bring innovative offerings to push team to industry excellence with creative solutions
    • Process Optimizations [Identifying + Implementing] in addition to superb project management skills to manage multiple programs at various stages internally & externally
    • Marketing Research [How do we remain competitive in the given market + test out new ways to increase win rate] and capability to build replicable frameworks for team implementation and adaptation.
    • An eye for slide design, build persuasive narratives, ability to develop custom materials (top-tier proposal responses, first-to-market offering & on demand sales collateral
