Direct Sales Officer (DSO)
Job summary
A leading bank in Ghana is expanding its retail banking operations and is seeking result- driven Direct Sales Officers to support customer acquisition and deposit mobilization across the country. The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, promoting the bank’s products, and meeting assigned sales targets. This role is ideal for confident individuals who are comfortable with fieldwork and motivated by performance-based rewards.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Prospect for new customers and promote the bank’s retail banking products
- Acquire and onboard customers for savings, current accounts, and other assigned products
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and requirements
- Meet and exceed assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular sales reports to supervisors
- Minimum of Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organized, disciplined, and target-driven
- Willingness to work in the field
- Prior sales or marketing experience is an advantage but not mandatory
