Job Summary

We are seeking a bilingual Chinese-English Translator and Secretary to support our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written and spoken communication between Chinese and English, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting daily office functions. This role requires strong language skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description/Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for translating various documents of the company into Chinese and English, ensuring that the translated content is accurate and in line with English expression habits.
  • Assist superiors in translating sales and marketing related tasks as well as internal management communication between Chinese and English.
  • Manage company documents and archive to ensure their integrity and security, and regularly organize and archive them.
  • Assist in organizing company meetings and events, prepare meeting materials, record meeting minutes and ensure the smooth progress of meetings.
  • Occasionally need to cooperate with business trips, and complete other tasks assigned by superiors. 


Requirement:


  • Bachelor’s degree or above, female, aged 20 and above, graduated with a Chinese major or related major, with good Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
  • Have a certain understanding of the translation industry, familiar with professional terms and expressions related to international trade, business cooperation and other related fields.
  • Possess excellent communication and coordination skills, able to establish good relationships with internal and external personnel of the company and effectively handle various communication issues.
  • Proficient in using office software and equipment, possessing basic document management and office skills.
  • Work experience in translation and or related field is preferred, but excellent fresh graduates are also considered. 


Salary and Benefits:


  • Salary:Ghc5000-Ghc6000(negotiable) Annual performance based salary adjustment based on company performance and individual performance. The probation period is3 months, and those who perform well can be promoted to full time in advance.
