Company Description

The Behaviour Hub provides comprehensive services centered on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy for children, including those who are neurotypical and those with special needs. Services also include one-on-one classroom support in schools using ABA strategies, parent training, and mentoring newly credentialed International Behaviour Analysts (IBAs). The organization supports the professional growth of its team by offering supervision and guidance for Behaviour Technicians pursuing certification as behaviour analysts. In addition, The Behaviour Hub is committed to training and onboarding new Behaviour Technicians with evidence-based practices.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Accra for a Behaviour Technicians and Facilitators. The Behaviour Technician and Facilitators will be responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children, supporting classroom environments with ABA strategies, collecting and analyzing behavioral data, and maintaining detailed session notes. Other responsibilities include collaborating with a team of professionals, participating in regular training sessions, and working under supervision to implement behavior intervention plans effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques or willingness to learn
  • Competence in data collection, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with parents, educators, and supervisors
  • Experience working with children, including those with unique needs, in therapeutic or educational settings
  • Organizational skills, time management, and the ability to follow treatment plans effectively
  • Certification as a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) or equivalent training is preferred
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is advantageous
