As the Business Manager in charge of modern trade channels he/ she is responsible for driving the acquisition of quality customers ,smart phone users through partnerships like the 3rd party phone shops and Vodafone cash development within the modern trade channels in the bid to guarantee success and growth of Vodafone this accountabilities and decision ownershipKey Accountabilities And Decision OwnershipAcquisition Responsible for leading and directing the alternative channels acquisition agents to achieve set sales targetsResponsible for driving acquisition with a T1 of % ,T2 of % ,T3 of %Monitor and track the performance of team and taking corrective measures where necessary to ensure the achievement of set targetsResponsible for growth of third-party electronic sales in assigned regionsResponsible for the development of Vodafone cash merchants in the modern channel in assigned regionsResponsible for recruiting 3rd party phones shops to drive the growth of smart phones onto the Vodafone networkResponsible for partnerships to drive digital sales and acquisitions in the assigned regions Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience Managerial qualitiesExcellent People management skillsOff role management skillsUnderstanding of digital mediumsYouthful mind-setEnthusiastic about the telecoms industryMedium to strong quantitative abilityAttention to detail whiles retaining sense of the big pictureEasily adaptable and able to work under difficult circumstancesAt ease with Microsoft excel and PowerPoint (intermediate or advance) Technical And Professional QualificationsThe candidate must have a First Degree in a Sales or Marketing related must have demonstrated a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a challenging working environmentPrior experience in the telecoms industry is an added advantage but not a requirementNot a perfect fit?Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
