Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and properly record incoming goods and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Issue stock and ensure proper documentation of all store transactions
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure the store is clean, properly arranged, and well maintained
- Monitor stock movement and minimize wastage or losses
- Prepare regular stock and inventory reports
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure smooth stock management
Requirements:
- HND in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in a store, inventory, or stock management role is an advantage
- Good knowledge of stock control and inventory procedures
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be honest, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an advantage
- Applicants must be strictly resident in Kumasi
