Job Description/Requirements
- Provide strategic academic leadership that supports the school’s mission and future growth.
- Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of the Montessori and Cambridge (Oxford) International curricula.
- Monitor, evaluate, and enhance the quality of teaching and learning across all academic levels.
- Develop and implement academic policies, assessments, and reporting systems in line with international best practices.
- Guide the recruitment, orientation, and professional development of teaching staff.
- Lead academic planning and school-wide performance reviews, using data to drive decisions and instructional improvements.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Administration to align academic objectives with human resources, financial, and infrastructure planning.
- Support student academic progress, including remedial programs, enrichment opportunities, and academic counseling.
- Maintain strong engagement with parents, faculty, students, and the wider school community to ensure consistent academic communication and collaboration.
- Represent the academic profile of the school during inspections, accreditations, and stakeholder meetings.
- Uphold and embody the school's values, setting the tone for academic integrity and excellence.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education
- At least 3 years of progressive academic leadership experience in a well-established school environment.
- Proven record of driving academic excellence, staff development, and innovation in teaching and learning.
- Experience working in a collaborative leadership environment with administrative counterparts.
- Instructional Leadership: Ability to lead curriculum development, mentor educators, and establish academic benchmarks.
- Strategic Thinking: Capacity to set academic goals aligned with broader institutional objectives.
- Analytical Ability: Proficiency in using assessment data and academic performance indicators to inform decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Strong aptitude for managing, motivating, and developing diverse teaching teams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to foster trust, collaboration, and a supportive learning culture among staff and students.
- Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying academic challenges and applying innovative solutions.
