Job summary

The Head of School will have full academic, administrative, and operational authority and will be responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and performance of the school. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop systems, lead staff decisively, improve standards, and position the school for sustained growth.

Responsibilities:

The Head of School will:

  • Exercise overall leadership and total management control of the school
  • Drive academic excellence and continuous school improvement
  • Lead curriculum delivery aligned with international best practices
  • Supervise, evaluate, mentor, and manage all staff
  • Develop, implement, and enforce school policies and procedures
  • Ensure high standards in teaching, learning, assessment, and safeguarding
  • Oversee student enrolment growth, retention, and school reputation
  • Manage parent engagement and stakeholder relations professionally
  • Ensure compliance with relevant educational regulations and standards
  • Manage budgets, resources, and school facilities effectively
  • Prepare the school for inspections, audits, and quality assurance reviews


Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5–8 years’ leadership experience in an international or private school environment
  • Strong experience in primary-level curriculum leadership
  • Proven track record in school development, staff leadership, and academic improvement
  • Ability to make firm decisions and operate with full accountability
