Operations Lead

Responsibilities: 

• Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage the end-to-end movement of raw materials and finished products. You will coordinate with suppliers and transport partners to ensure zero downtime in production.
• Operational Workflow: Design and refine the internal systems that keep our team moving. This includes everything from staff scheduling and on-boarding to improving inter-departmental communication.
• Budget & Cost Control: Work closely with leadership to manage operational budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities to save costs without compromising quality.
• Data & Compliance:Ensure all business records—from inventory levels to production logs—are accurate and "investor-ready." You will be the custodian of our operational data in MS Excel.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our external partners, ensuring we always have the best terms and reliable service.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree (BSc.) in Business Administration, Agribusiness Management, or Operations Management is preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in an operational management role, ideally within a startup or fast- growing agribusiness environment.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You must be able to influence teams and drive change.
• Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with project management or inventory software is a must.
• Analytical Mindset: You enjoy digging into data to find efficiencies and "bottlenecks" in a business process.
