Job summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Phone Repair Technicians to diagnose, repair and maintain smartphones and related devices. The role involves hardware and software troubleshooting, screen and battery replacement, quality testing, accurate repair records and excellent customer service. The Phone Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining smartphones, tablets and related electronic devices. The successful candidate will perform hardware and software repairs, replace defective components, test repaired devices and ensure that all work meets the company’s quality and customer-service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software faults accurately.
- Repair smartphones, tablets and related devices.
- Replace screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers and other components.
- Perform software installation, updates, flashing, resetting and troubleshooting.
- Conduct quality-control tests before releasing repaired devices.
- Provide accurate repair estimates and explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Maintain proper records of devices received, repairs completed and parts used.
- Protect customer devices, information and personal data.
- Maintain repair tools, equipment and a clean work environment.
- Manage spare parts responsibly and report low-stock or defective items.
- Meet agreed repair timelines and promptly escalate complex faults.
- Follow company safety, warranty and repair procedures.
Requirements
- Certificate, diploma or practical training in mobile-phone repair, electronics or a related field.
- Proven experience repairing smartphones and tablets.
- Strong knowledge of Android devices; experience with iPhones is an advantage.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve both hardware and software problems.
- Experience with screen replacement, soldering and motherboard-level repairs is an advantage.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Honest, reliable, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
