The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations. The role involves managing networks, servers, cloud services, and IT systems, overseeing infrastructure projects, ensuring cybersecurity and system availability, and providing technical leadership to support business objectives.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Manage and maintain the institution’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or other platforms)
- Implement infrastructure security controls (firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus systems)
- Ensure network security, performance, and reliability to support banking operations.
- Ensure business continuity planning for IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
