Role Description Security Officers at Cipher Trace Access provide on-site safety and protection for clients, staff, and properties in Accra. This full-time role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, controlling access to facilities, and responding promptly to security incidents and emergencies. Security Officers document activities, maintain incident reports, and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies when necessary. They support a secure environment by enforcing company policies, observing and reporting suspicious behavior, and assisting clients and visitors in a professional manner. The position requires consistent presence on-site, adherence to security protocols, and a strong commitment to safeguarding people and assets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in security, law enforcement, or a related protective services role, with knowledge of basic security procedures and access control.
• Ability to monitor premises effectively, perform routine patrols, and respond calmly and efficiently to incidents or emergencies.
• Strong observation, reporting, and documentation skills, including accurate incident writing and clear record keeping.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact respectfully with clients, visitors, and team members.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with a strong focus on confidentiality and ethical conduct.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods, and to respond quickly when needed.
• Familiarity with basic safety, emergency response, and conflict de-escalation practices; prior training or certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional security-related training or certification is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Accra on a full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
