ROLE SUMMARY
As Business Developer for HRLeverage Africa Ghana, you will be the primary driver of client acquisition and revenue growth for our Accra office. You will represent the company’s brand, introduce our Pan-African HR service suite to prospective clients, and convert those relationships into long-term business partnerships. The ideal candidate is a confident, commercially minded professional who understands the HR consulting landscape and can communicate complex service offerings with clarity and conviction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Acquisition & Sales
- Identify and prospect new corporate clients across private sector, multinational, and public-sector organizations in Ghana.
- Develop and execute a structured sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Conduct professional presentations and service pitches to decision-makers, clearly articulating HRLeverage Africa’s service offerings and value proposition. Negotiate and close service agreements and contracts in line with company policies and pricing frameworks.
2.Client Relationship Management
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients to drive retention and account growth.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients seeking HR consulting, payroll outsourcing, EOR, BPO, or staffing services.
- Conduct regular check-ins and client satisfaction reviews to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across HRLeverage Africa’s service portfolio.
3.Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase the brand visibility of HRLeverage Africa in Ghana and the West Africa sub-region.
- Manage digital marketing channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and email campaigns aligned with the company’s Pan-African brand.
- Create and coordinate marketing collaterals, company profiles, service brochures, capability decks, and proposals, for client engagements.
- Represent HRLeverage Africa at HR conferences, business forums, networking events, and industry seminars in Ghana.
4.Market Research & Strategic Input
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging HR consulting needs in Ghana and the West Africa market.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership to support service expansion, market positioning, and growth strategy decisions.
- Track and report on KPIs including leads generated, proposals submitted, conversion rates, and revenue closed.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- A postgraduate degree or professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or HR is a strong advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within an HR consulting, professional services, or B2B environment.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets and growing a client portfolio.
- Prior exposure to or knowledge of HR services (outsourcing, payroll, EOR, staffing) is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives confidently.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across diverse business cultures.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strategic mindset with an entrepreneurial, self-driven approach to achieving growth targets.
- Familiarity with Ghana’s business ecosystem, key industries, and professional networks.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment regulations in Ghana, and HR outsourcing models is an added advantage.
