This is an internship role for a Trade Integration & Promotions Officer, based on-site in Accra. The intern will assist in developing and executing trade promotion strategies, coordinating trade-related projects, conducting market analysis, and fostering partnerships with stakeholders. Responsibilities will also include supporting communications, preparing progress reports, and facilitating workshops or seminars. The officer will manage and regulate this desk and will work strictly with senior officers to prepare SMEs in Ghana for the AfCFTA Market. The SME platform. Connecting SMEs in all 54 Member States to trade and provide services.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. - Strong Trade Background (Intermediate Level)
• Analytical Skills to assess data, trends, and market conditions for insightful reporting and decision-making. - Strong Trade Background (Intermediate Level)
• Experience or knowledge in Project Management to support the planning and execution of trade initiatives. - Strong Trade Background (Intermediate Level)
• Marketing expertise to contribute to promotional campaigns and enhance trade visibility. - Strong Trade Background (Intermediate Level)
• Academic background in Business, Trade, Finance, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
• Keen interest in trade and finance within the local and international context.
