Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee placement.
- Maintain effective employee relations and handle workplace concerns
- Coordinate performance management and appraisal processes.
- Develop and implement staff training and development programmes.
- Manage disciplinary and grievance processes fairly and professionally.
- Support succession planning and talent development.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Advise management on HR matters and workforce planning.
- Promote a positive, ethical, and productive organizational culture.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional HR qualifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant HR experience, preferably in banking, microfinance, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and employment procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
