The Human Resources Manager will lead the institution's human capital strategy and ensure effective recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, staff development, and organizational growth

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee placement.
  • Maintain effective employee relations and handle workplace concerns
  • Coordinate performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Develop and implement staff training and development programmes.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance processes fairly and professionally.
  • Support succession planning and talent development.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Advise management on HR matters and workforce planning.
  • Promote a positive, ethical, and productive organizational culture.

Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
  •  Professional HR qualifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant HR experience, preferably in banking, microfinance, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and employment procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
