Freelance Music Reviewer / Content Writer

We are looking for dedicated Freelance Writers from anywhere in the world to review incoming music submissions and cover diverse genres including Pop, R&B, Rock, and Country. In this fully remote role, you will evaluate new releases, write engaging reviews, and cover artist submissions on a volume-driven, commission basis—the more quality pieces you write, the more you earn.

• Track Evaluation: Listen to and critically review music submissions across Pop, Afrobeats, R&B, Rock, Christian music, Country, and related sub-genres.
• Content Creation: Draft clear, engaging track reviews, artist profiles, and editorial features aligned with the agency’s voice.
• Editorial Collaboration: Work alongside remote editors to revise content, pitch story ideas, and meet regular publishing deadlines.
• Industry Engagement: Conduct artist interviews, adapt content for digital distribution platforms, and stay tuned into global music trends.

Compensation & Perks

• Commission Rate: Base pay starts from £2 - 5 per review (uncapped earnings based on submission volume and output).

Qualifications

• Genre Versatility: Strong listening ear and the ability to write articulate, insightful reviews across Pop, R&B, Rock, and Country.
• Writing Portfolio: Proven track record with published samples, personal blog posts, or written pieces in music journalism or media (a degree is optional—your writing portfolio is what counts).
• Research & Storytelling: Ability to craft original, engaging copy with solid grammar, sharp self-editing skills, and the capability to conduct artist interviews.
• Remote Workflow: Self-motivated with strong time management skills to handle high submission volumes independently across time zones.
• Digital Literacy: Familiarity with WordPress and basic SEO/content optimization
