A reputable Institution is inviting qualified candidates for the position of Director, Inspection & Supervision to provide technical, administrative direction and leadership for the achievement of the Inspection and Supervision functions of the Institution.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides inputs for the formulation of policies
- Ensures the efficient and effective management of the human, material and financial resources of the Department
- Ensures the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities of the Department
- Ensures the effective and efficient inspection and supervision of pre-tertiary schools
- Ensures the effective enforcement of school management standards
- Ensures the development of guidelines for school inspection and supervision
- Ensures the development of guidelines for inspection and supervision of Special and Inclusive Education
- Ensure the development and maintenance of database on pre-tertiary schools
- Liaises with other departments within the Institution in carrying out the functions of the Department
- Liaises with key Government, Public and Private sector partners and other stakeholders, in carrying out the functions of the Department
- Ensures the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Department
- Ensures the preparation of the annual work plan and budget of the Department
- Oversees the implementation of the Performance Management System within the Department.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Administration and Management or any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution
- A minimum of ten (10) years post-Bachelor Degree relevant work experience, five (5) years of which must be in a senior management position in the education sector
