French Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the needs of diverse learners.
• Integrate various teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cover various aspects of the French language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural nuances.
• Employ a communicative approach to facilitate meaningful interaction in French, both spoken and written.
• Assess students' language proficiency through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills and track their progress over time.
• Offer personalized assistance to students who require additional help in mastering the language, including language learners with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Introduce students to the rich cultural heritage of French-speaking countries through authentic materials, such as literature, music, art, and films.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in language teaching through professional development activities, conferences, and workshops.
• Continuously reflect on and refine teaching strategies to improve instructional effectiveness and student learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in French, or Education Certification.
• Teaching certification or licensure in French or Foreign Language Education
• Proficiency in both spoken and written French, preferably at the native or near-native level.
• Experience teaching French to students of varying ages and proficiency levels, preferably in a classroom setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Passion for language teaching and cultural exchange, with a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Location: Mensah Bar (oyibi-dodowa road)
