Research Assistant

Requirements:

• Genius at finding things on the internet (research skills)
• Amazing memory and multitasking
• Perfect written English
• Good computer skills especially in MSWord and Excel
• Curious about the world and current affairs
• Live not too far from Osu
• Be fun, flexible and have lots of positive energy.

You would be working closely for me, a crusty old English, French and German speaking journalist, based in and around Africa for many years. You would help me with corporate investigations for clients in the risk consulting industry.

This involves finding people we call 'sources', who have useful information about a subject, then getting those sources to talk on the phone. The subjects of these investigations mostly involve businesses, but they can be about anything anywhere in the world.

We are a small team, including translators, transcribers, an office manager, housekeepers, and security staff.
