Job summary
A Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This includes monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents or emergencies.

- Protecting company’s properties and employee
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
- Report in detail, daily activities and irregularities such as theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences to the chief security officer.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises
- Patrol assigned areas regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
- Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) and alarm systems
- Control access to buildings by checking identification and issuing passes
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches
- Report incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities in detail
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers when needed
- Conduct security checks on doors, windows, and gates
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
- Maintain daily activity logs and security reports
