Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kumasi for a Long-Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient health, assisting with daily activities, collaborating with healthcare teams, and documenting patient progress. The role requires compassion, diligence, and a strong commitment to patient well-being.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification and sound understanding of nursing practices
- Experience in long-term care settings and proficiency in medication administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare practices and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
