Job summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Officer to manage core people operations at our Ghana office. You will be the person responsible for employee lifecycle administration, payroll accuracy, and local compliance, ensuring a smooth and legally sound HR experience for all staff.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Attendance & Time Management: Track and monitor employee attendance, leave balances, and overtime records, generate monthly attendance reports. ·
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Handle end-to-end onboarding (offer letters, orientation, system setup) and offboarding (hand-over form, exit interviews, final settlements).
- Compliance & Employment Contracts: Draft, review, and renew local employment contracts in line with Ghanaian labour laws; maintain up-to-date personnel files and ensure statutory compliance.
- Payroll Review: Validate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leaves, deductions, commissoin) and collaborate with financial department to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
- Talent Acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruitment: draft job postings, screen CVs, coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and issue offer letters.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience. · Solid knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws, statutory deductions (SSNIT, PAYE), and contract standards.
- Proficient in Excel for attendance and payroll data processing.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
