Human Resource Business Partner
Job summary
OLAM Ghana is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its Human Resources team. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, drive employee engagement, support talent management initiatives, and foster a high-performance workplace culture. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for developing people while supporting business growth

- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Guide employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning initiatives.
- Coach and advise managers on leadership development, employee engagement, and people management best practices.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and HR regulations.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve workforce productivity and retention.
- Support organizational change management and culture transformation initiatives.
- Assist in implementing performance appraisal processes and talent development programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure the confidentiality of employee information.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (CIHRM, SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, FMCG, agribusiness, or multinational environment.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders to deliver HR solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act and HR best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong coaching, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence decision-making across different levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
