1. Recruitment Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Develop and implement end-to-end talent acquisition strategies aligned with manufacturing and business growth objectives.
- Conduct workforce planning to ensure timely availability of skilled, semi-skilled, and professional talent.
- Build and maintain a sustainable talent pipeline to support current and future manpower needs.
2. Full-Cycle Recruitment Management
- Oversee recruitment processes across factory and corporate functions, including production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and administrative roles.
- Lead senior and critical hiring processes for managerial and technical positions.
- Optimize recruitment processes to improve efficiency, quality of hire, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure alignment between hiring outcomes and business requirements.
3. Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead and develop the recruitment team, setting clear KPIs and performance standards.
- Manage external recruitment partners, including agencies, headhunters, and labor suppliers.
- Evaluate and ensure performance effectiveness of all recruitment vendors.
4. Campus & Early Talent Programs
- Develop partnerships with universities, technical institutes, and vocational schools.
- Design and implement campus recruitment and apprenticeship programs.
- Support internship and graduate trainee initiatives.
5. Employer Branding
- Strengthen employer branding to enhance talent attraction in the manufacturing sector.
- Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and talent marketing initiatives.
6. Data Analytics & Process Improvement
- Analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and retention rates.
- Use data-driven insights to improve hiring strategies and recruitment efficiency.
- Implement and optimize ATS and HR digital tools.
7. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits related to hiring and employment practices.
- Mitigate recruitment and hiring-related risks.
Qualification:
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) are an advantage.
Experience
- 8–15 years of HR or talent acquisition experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience leading recruitment teams in large-scale or multi-site operations.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing workforce structures (blue-collar and white-collar hiring).
- Expertise in end-to-end recruitment lifecycle management.
- Experience in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Proficiency in ATS, HRIS, and HR analytics tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capability.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of labor laws and employment compliance.
