Job Description:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Performing basic accounting procedures, e.g. A/R, A/P, time billing, G/L, tax payments and inventory control.
  • Daily banking: Deposits and withdrawals.
  • Supervision of the Cash Office (Student Billing Services) and Stores.
  • Processing payroll for the company.
  • Performing analysis of operations on a monthly basis.
  • Preparing financial statements, e.g., monthly and quarterly financial reports, weekly forecasts to Management Team summarizing current and projected financial position.
  • Month end and quarterly closing (e.g., balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements)
  • Analysing and reconciling general ledger accounts and investment transactions in conjunction with preparing quarterly reports for management
  • Assisting Accounting Supervisor with annual financial and audits by serving as company liaison with auditors
  • Support the Cash Office (Student Billing Services) by reconciling students’ ledgers and communicating with parents to address any past due invoices on their account
  • Producing financial data for management team upon request and assisting with other special accounting projects from time to time
  • Ensuring all active projects are covered by valid, binding contracts and documentation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • ICAG Part 2 completed
  • 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment.
  • Advance proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail.
  • Well-developed leadership, management and influencing
  • Strong communications, public relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Good English language speaking and writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively to team members and supervisors.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proven experience in Business Development.
  • Good IT skills.

Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
Location:  Preferably candidates must live within Kwashieman, Dansoman, Lapaz, Odorkor, Santa Maria and its environs.
