Job Summary

The relevant candidate will be responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensuring all accurate statutory payments within the stipulated time.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Maintain, manage and record day to day financial transactions in Quick books.
  • Calculate and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
  • Support duties related to accounts payables, supplier invoices and supplier statement reconciliation.
  • Maintain proper records and filing system at all times.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Develop and maintain financial data bases
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Timely statutory filing & payment to GRA,SSNIT etc
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits
  • Coordinate with the banks, writing and handling of cheques

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Accounting degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and principles and of economic principles
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
  • Knowledge and experience of related computer applications
  • Usually a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Master of QuickBooks is a must

Other Requirements:

  • Highly Proficient in Quickbooks
  • Good knowledge and application of accounting principles
  • Good knowledge and application of the Tax Laws of Ghana
  • Good computing skills (MS Office Suit)
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written)
  • A minimum of three(3) years working experience in related field
  • Has an eye for accuracy and detail
  • Very organized

Compensation: Competitive salary + Health care + Bonus Scheme

Salary: GHc1500- 1800
