The CFO and Head, Business Support Services will be responsible for providing strategic financial advisory to the business as well as supervising the delivery of Finance, IT, HR, ESG and Admin services to the business, coordinating the continuous improvement of service delivery in these areas.

Job Description/Requirements
 Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
Organization-wide Strategy ArticulationÂ
- Contribute to the articulation of the organization-wide strategy, providing insight on the implications of business decisions and establishing key metrics for measuring financial and operational elements of organization's overall strategyÂ
Financial AdvisoryÂ
- Drive the development and implementation of the business’s overall financial strategy.
- Develop financial strategies to manage the business’’ cost of capital, capital allocation for expansions and acquisitions, working capital, FX hedging and implement.
- Provide advisory on mergers and acquisitions.
- Liaise with relevant external stakeholder including banks, funding institutions, credit rating agencies, accounting firms, financial and legal advisors etc.Â
Oversight on Finance OperationsÂ
- Ensure the effective financial management (integrity of accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and forecasting, balance sheet & cash flow) of the business.
- Develop, implement and administer effective financial and administration management systems and infrastructure.
- Supervise the budgeting process (establishment and management) for the organization.
- Lead cost management initiatives across the business.Â
Oversight on Human Capital ManagementÂ
- Oversee the development of a HR strategy focused on the strategic facets of human resource management activities including Recruitment, Talent and Performance Management, aligning same with the business’s strategic plans and objectives.
- Ensure the efficient delivery of HR operational activities in line with best practice. Â
Oversight on TechnologyÂ
- Oversee the articulation of the organization's technology strategy blueprint, detailing the strategy down to key tactics and corresponding activities.
- Provide oversight on the design of a robust technology platform, able to support the delivery of both strategic and operational objectives.
- Provide oversight on the implementation of the defined technology strategy as well as the provision of IT services across key functions.Â
Oversight on ESGÂ
- Oversee the articulation of an ESG framework for the business and implementation of same in line with best practice and defined standards.Â
New Store Roll-outÂ
- Contribute to the planning, budgeting, execution, and post evaluation of new stores as required.Â
RequirementsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA required if bachelor’s degree is in a non-finance discipline.
- Professional certification (CFA, ACA, ACCA etc.) is required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role, 3 years at senior management
- Knowledge, Skills and Competency Requirements
- Solid understanding of financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and capital markets
- Ability to evaluate financial impact of strategic actions and transactions, as well as impact on shareholder value.
- Ability to think strategically and innovatively in order to contribute to longer term organizational plans.
- Proven track record of maintaining excellent business relationships with relevant stakeholders, investors, credit analysts, banks, auditors, rating agencies etc.
- Ability to understand business needs and priorities multiple demands in accordance with business priorities.
- Strong business acumen, maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with the highest levels of management of financial institutions and other external advisers.
