Job summary
Sales Representatives are responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products or services, building strong customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and achieving sales targets. They also handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets
- Manage, supervise, and motivate a team of sales representatives
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and monitor performance
- Appoint, manage, and evaluate distributors within the territory
- Ensure effective distribution coverage and route-to-market execution
- Drive market penetration and identify new business opportunities
- Monitor stock levels across distributors and key accounts to avoid stock-outs
- Oversee in-store execution, merchandising, and promotional campaigns
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor team performance and market conditions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit within approved limits
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales and performance reports to management
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of distributor and retail network management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Good knowledge of the local market and territory
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently
