Sales & Marketing Person

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and creative individual to drive our sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, converting prospects into clients, and promoting the brand offline. The individual should be one who isn’t afraid to step out and represent our brand in the real world. From visiting potential clients to attending events and selling our travel services and packages to drive visibility and sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and build client relationships.
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company goals.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine marketing strategies.
• Prepare sales reports and track performance metrics.
• Actively go out to meet potential clients, pitch our travels services and packages, and close deals.
• Promote and sell domestic and international travel offers.
• Build strong relationships with potential clients.
• Represent Jex Travel at expos, tourism events, trade fairs, promotional events and sales activations.
• Assist with partnerships, and general business development activities.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or related field. Knowledge in the tourism industry is a plus.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing, or related field (experience in travel/tourism is a plus).
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Customer-service experience
• Confident, persuasive, and well-presented
• Must be comfortable going out to meet clients and representing the company.
• Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Flexible working hours.
