Key Responsibilities
Research & Content Development
- Conduct research on Biblical figures, scripture, historical context, and modern purpose- driven leaders aligned with the book’s themes
- Source and summarize relevant theological, leadership, and entrepreneurship materials
- Support fact-checking, citations, and contextual accuracy
Content Curation & Organization
- Collect and organize existing materials from multiple platforms (Google Docs, Notes, voice memos, social media, etc.)
- Create a structured content repository aligned to book chapters and themes
- Identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities to strengthen narrative flow
Transcription & Synthesis
- Transcribe recorded voice notes, conversations, and spoken reflections
- Distill spoken content into clear written sections while preserving the author’s voice
- Highlight quotable moments, insights, and recurring motifs
Draft Writing & Editorial Support
- Produce first-draft sections based on outlines, transcripts, and guidance
- Assist with chapter summaries, transitions, and thematic consistency
- Collaborate on revisions to improve clarity, structure, and emotional resonance
Project Management &Workflow
- Track drafts, revisions, and feedback cycles
- Maintain version control and documentation
- Support timelines toward manuscript completion
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional writing and editing skills (clarity, structure, storytelling)
- Strong research and synthesis ability
- Experience with long-form writing (books, essays, reports, or thought leadership)
- Comfort working from spoken content and unstructured notes
- High attention to detail and editorial discipline
- Deep respect for faith-based narratives and spiritual themes
Strongly Preferred
- Background or strong interest in Christian theology, ministry, or faith-based work
- Familiarity with entrepreneurship, startups, or social impact
- Prior experience supporting an author, executive, or thought leader
- Ability to write with both intellectual rigor and spiritual sensitivity
- Discretion, maturity, and integrity when handling personal reflections
