Hotel Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises regularly, including lobbies, corridors, guest floors, parking areas, and restricted zones.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access controls to identify suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to incidents such as theft, accidents, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Assist guests and staff in handling security-related concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Enforce hotel security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Investigate security breaches, accidents, and incidents, documenting reports accurately.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and hotel management when required.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during events, VIP visits, and busy periods.
• Conduct safety checks on fire exits, extinguishers, alarms, and other emergency equipment.
• Support the front desk and management in handling lost and found property.
• Provide escort services for guests or staff when needed.
• Participate in security training sessions and emergency drills.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; security training or certification preferred.
• Prior experience in hotel, hospitality, or corporate security is an advantage.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, emergency response, and safety protocols.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Professional appearance, integrity, and customer-focused attitude.
• Physically fit and able to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
