Job Description/Requirements
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Conduct musculoskeletal assessments including posture evaluation, ROM testing, neurological screening, and orthopedic tests.
- Assist the Chiropractor during non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, including patient setup, monitoring, and documentation.
- Deliver physiotherapy treatments such as manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, and electrotherapy.
- Prepare patients for chiropractic adjustments and manage post-treatment rehabilitation plans.
- Educate patients on ergonomics, spinal hygiene, home programs, recovery timelines, and lifestyle modifications.
- Track and document patient progress, reporting findings to the Chiropractor and clinical team.
MRI Reading & Imaging Support
- Assist in the preliminary review and interpretation of spinal MRI scans, focusing on:
- Disc bulges and herniations
- Degenerative disc disease
- Spinal stenosis
- Facet joint degeneration
- Alignment or curvature issues
- Nerve root compression indicators
- Summarize MRI findings in functional, clinical language to support chiropractic treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the Chiropractor to correlate MRI findings with patient symptoms, orthopedic tests, and physical exam results.
- Ensure MRI interpretations remain within the physiotherapy scope of practice and follow facility protocols.
- Document MRI findings clearly and communicate relevant observations to the clinical team.
Operational Duties
- Ensure decompression equipment, therapy devices, and treatment rooms are properly maintained and cleaned.
- Assist with patient flow, appointment coordination, and ensuring treatment areas are organized.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, audits, and continuous professional development.
- Support patient communication, preparation, and follow-up instructions to improve clinical efficiency
Additional Requirement
- As part of the company’s regulatory and expansion processes, the Physiotherapist may be required to travel and sit for a professional licensing examination in another country.
- This is to support company registration, compliance, or partnership requirements.
- All documentation and administrative support will be provided by the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Strong musculoskeletal background with clinical experience in MSK rehabilitation.
- Experience or willingness to train in non-surgical spinal decompression therapy.
- Experience in orthopedic or chiropractic clinics is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of spinal anatomy, biomechanics, and imaging correlation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-handling skills.
