Job summary
We are seeking a proactive and committed Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to support the implementation and enforcement of QHSE standards across its construction sites and designated locations. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with site policies, and safeguarding the wellbeing of all workers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct QHSE training, Toolbox Talks, and emergency drills to promote safe work practices.
- Enforce and monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
- Carry out regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions.
- Ensure tools, equipment, scaffolds, and work-at-height activities meet safety requirements.
- Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and hazards, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with site safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain QHSE records, submit reports, and attend QHSE meetings as required.
- Perform other duties in support of QHSE objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma, HND, or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- Professional HSE certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 3+years’ experience in an HSE role, preferably within a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
