Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Guide HSE Assistants and Labor Contractors
- Respond to HSE Incidents and Emergencies and prepare the Preliminary Incident Reports
- Implement Corrective actions regarding violations, incidents, and near misses.
- Lead risk assessments and control high-risk activities (hot work, confined space, lifting, LOTO)
- Implement corrective actions after incident investigation
- Ensure compliance with laid out HSE procedures and policies
- Monitor the state of open actions and follow up with owners
- Oversee environmental monitoring activities
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and fire drills
- Promote initiatives to enhance the HSE Culture among all factory personnel.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to increase employee engagement in HSE.
Minimum Experience required
- 5 years and above in Manufacturing Environment as HSE Personnel
Qualification Required
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or professional certification in Occupational health and safety i.e., NEBOSH / OSHA
- Advance training in Hazardous material handling and emergency response
- Certification in First Aid Administration
Medical Facility Provided
- Medical treatment covered at Company First Aid Clinic / Company Designated Hospitals, as per the prevailing company policy in place.
Food Allowance
- As per the prevailing company policy in place.
Age Limit
- 27 – 35 years maximum.
Salary: Maximum GHS - 4,500 to 5,000
Location: Factory Site – Tsopoli.
