Job summary
PATAQAO is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and hands-on Graphic Designer & Craft/Print Production Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is not only good at creating beautiful designs, but also enjoys practical, hands-on work such as crafting, assembling, customizing, printing, packaging, and preparing finished item. We are looking for someone who can take a client brief or internal idea and turn it into a clean, attractive, and production-ready design. The person should also be comfortable assisting with the actual production process, including using printers, cutting tools, and other basic production equipment. Experience working with a print press, branding company, will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:
- The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality designs for both digital and print use.
- The person must be willing and able to assist with the physical making and finishing of items.
- They should have basic knowledge of printing and production processes, or must be willing to learn quickly.
- Must be able to understand client requests and translate them into suitable designs.
- Must be able to check their own work before sending it for approval or production.
Required Skills and Experience:
Applicants should have:
- Good graphic design skills.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar design software.
- A good eye for layout, typography, colour, spacing, and composition.
- Ability to prepare clean, professional, and print-ready designs.
- Basic knowledge of print production.
- Ability to use or learn how to use heat press machines.
- Ability to use printers and basic production equipment.
- Interest or experience in crafts, handmade items, product finishing, packaging, and customization.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with deadlines.
- Ability to accept feedback and make revisions.
- Good communication skills.
- A responsible and teachable attitude.
- Ability to work with a team.
