Travel Content Creator and Social Media Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing high-quality photography and video in the field
• Creating Reels, TikTok’s, YouTube Shorts, Stories and other social content
• Documenting wildlife, nature, heritage, culture and community-impact stories
• Interviewing guests, guides, conservationists and community members
• Managing content calendars, publishing schedules and audience engagement
• Writing compelling captions and adapting content for different platforms
• Monitoring trends, analytics and opportunities to increase reach, enquiries and bookings
• Representing African communities, cultures and environments with dignity, consent and authenticity

Who we’re looking for

You should have:

• A strong visual portfolio demonstrating relevant content-creation experience
• Practical photography, videography and short-form video-editing skills
• Experience using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot or similar
• A good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
• Strong storytelling, interviewing and communication skills
• A genuine interest in African culture, heritage, wildlife, conservation and responsible tourism
• The resilience and flexibility to work during early starts, long journeys and changing schedules in remote, hot or humid environments
• Access, ideally, to suitable professional content-creation equipment, including a capable camera or flagship smartphone, audio equipment, stabilisation and portable power

NB: Drone experience is highly desirable. Any drone operations must comply with applicable regulations and place wildlife welfare, community wellbeing and public safety first.
