The Design & Project Assistant will support the Creative Director in managing project workflow from concept preparation through sourcing and installation. This role focuses heavily on technical preparation, vendor coordination, and site execution support, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design Support:
- Prepare mood boards based on direction from the Creative Director
- Produce clean 2D drawings and basic 3D renders
- Assist with layout refinements and presentation materials
Technical Preparation:
- Take accurate site measurements
- Produce layout drawings and technical documentation
- Prepare furniture lists, sourcing sheets, and BOQs
Vendor & Procurement Coordination:
- Source furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes
- Request and compare quotations from vendors
- Track delivery timelines and order progress
Project Execution Support:
- Assist during site visits and installation days
- Coordinate with carpenters, installers, and suppliers
- Ensure design instructions are correctly executed on site
Project Organization:
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Prepare summaries after site visits
- Track outstanding tasks and follow ups across projects
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Ability to create basic 3D visualizations
- Strong understanding of measurements and space planning
- Good knowledge of lighting placement fundamentals
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Professional communication with vendors and contractors
Ideal Candidate
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 0 to 2 years experience in design or architectural practice
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable working both in office and on site
- Able to follow design direction and execute tasks efficiently
