Cashier
Job summary
The Cashier is responsible for receiving payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate transaction records, and supporting financial operations while ensuring proper cash handling in line with company policies.

- Receive and process cash, mobile money, and other forms of payment.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Balance daily cash collections and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare daily sales and cash reports.
- Maintain petty cash records where applicable.
- Ensure safe custody of company funds.
- Assist with account reconciliations and financial record keeping.
- Support the finance department with bookkeeping tasks.
- Report discrepancies in cash handling promptly.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
- Adhere to internal financial controls and procedures.
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Accounting background is required.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- High level of integrity and accuracy.
- Conduct monthly training sessions on kitchen operations and recipe adherence.
