Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Warehouse Officer to manage and oversee the company’s warehouse operations in line with organizational policies. The role involves ensuring proper storage, inventory control, and reporting, while maintaining a secure and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will also support logistics, staff training, and ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of the company’s warehouse, in line with its policies.
- Ensure accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are properly maintained.
- Ensure that management systems are properly maintained at warehouses.
- Assist in the training of colleagues in warehouse management best practices.
- Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to the arrival of goods.
- Supervise the receipt of all arriving consignments.
- Monitor the quantity and quality of goods stored.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling them with the data storage system.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Prepare all procedures and necessary steps for commodity disposal.
- Produce regular stocks reports and daily stocks positions.
- Prepare loading plans and ensure that standard waybills are duly complete.
- Arrange transportation for the delivery of orders to customers and regional warehouses.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Education / Skills:
- Degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or other related fields.
- Must have excellent people management skills.
- Must have an analytical approach to work.
- Must have high numeracy and sound technical skills.
- Must have problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Must have strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
- Must have good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
- Must be willing to work in any of the regional capitals of the country
Key Competencies:
- Must be computer literate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, and PowerPoint)
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar.
- Experience in the FMCG industry will be an advantage
