SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Core Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the strategic development of supply chain processes and systems across the market and delivering cost-effective business process improvements, control inventory budgets and oversee demand planning.
• Manage the different aspects of the supply chain (transport, warehousing and distribution)
• Interface and work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Market Operations, and suppliers to develop and implement strategies to ensure continuity of supply, manage cost and provide the Company with competitive advantage.
• Inventory Management: Co-ordinate and ensures continuity of supply and optimal material flow to support high volume store operations across all locations on a daily, and monthly basis
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts and supply agreements for all packaging materials in collaboration with other functional business departments.
• Optimize and control stock levels of all ingredients, packaging and imported foods.

Qualification Required & Experience:

• Minimum First Degree in Supply Chain Management/Purchasing and Supply
• +5 years’ minimum experience in similar activities in a fast-paced FMCG or Multinational Company.
• Professional membership and certification from the CIPS will be an added advantage.
