Job Summary
We are looking for a SQL developer who will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. You will also work other developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary, and establishing best practices. You will help solve all database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future. The Impact: This is a hybrid role in-that it supports both “grow-the-business” [Project] as well as “run-the-business” [BAU] initiatives.

Job Description/Requirements
Requirements:
- Above 7+ Years of experience in following areas
- Installation, Management and support of SQL Server / Oracle
- Experience in data center migration to AWS
- 3+ years of experience in AWS RDS is desired
- 3+ years of experience in following areas:
- Shell Scripting or Python (nice to have)
- Query and database system tuning for performance [execution plan optimization
- Deep understanding of MS SQL internals and features
- Experience dealing with Oracle, Postgres, Aurora Postgres, Maria DB is nice to have
A Plus:
• Setup of bi-directional and peer-peer to replication patterns
• Knowledge on replication
• Experience with relational modeling [normalization / de-normalization / reverse-engineering]
• Experience with on-premise and cloud-deployment system patterns & practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills [English]
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience with Agile as well as Waterfall development methodologies
