Security Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access at gates and entry points, ensuring only authorized persons enter the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the residence, including buildings, perimeters, and parking areas.
• Observe CCTV surveillance systems and alarm systems, reporting any unusual activity or security breaches.
• Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, or suspicious activities.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in the security logbook.
• Assist residents and guests with inquiries while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Enforce property rules and regulations, including noise control, visitor limits, and parking.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards observed during patrols to the facilities team.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; security certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in security or residential protection preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and emergency procedures.
• Physically fit with the ability to patrol on foot and respond quickly to incidents.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in stressful situations.
• Must be trustworthy, responsible, and have a clean criminal record.
