Responsibilities

Housekeeper 
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by sweeping and mopping floors
  • Dust, wipe, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and all surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, guest rooms, and other assigned areas to established standards
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with approved procedures
  • Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are neat, tidy, and guest-ready
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to maintain a spotless appearance
  • Wash, dry, iron, fold, and properly store linens, towels, and other laundry items
  • Sort laundry according to fabric type, colour, and care instructions to prevent damage
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of linens, toiletries, and housekeeping supplies, and report shortages promptly
  • Replenish toiletries and room supplies as required
  • Ensure housekeeping chemicals, tools, equipment are properly maintained and handled safely and storage areas are clean and organized
  • Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance defects, damaged items, and potential safety hazards without delay
  • Respond promptly, courteously, and professionally to requests from residents, guests, and supervisors
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a high standard of service in all interactions

Waitress 
  •  Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required
  • Present menus and provide clear explanations of menu items, daily specials, and promotional offers and respond knowledgeably to guest enquiries regarding ingredients, preparation methods, dietary requirements, and allergens
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints courteously and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Accurately record food and drink orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service
  • Check on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure their needs are met and address any additional requests
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to maintain a welcoming dining environment.
  • Prepare and present bills accurately, and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system or other approved payment method
  • Balance cash receipts and report any payment discrepancies in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces at all times
  • Comply with all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure efficient service and smooth daily operations
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
  • Assist kitchen during peak service periods to ensure timely and exceptional food delivery

Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous housekeeping, food service or hospitality experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and products.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina for standing and walking for extended periods and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Great customer service skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.

  • Living within 30 minutes of location or willing to move closer
