Job summary
We are seeking an experienced, polished and service-obsessed Spa Manager to lead the spa operation at our Facility. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional wellness experience from the moment a member enters the spa to the moment they leave. This role combines luxury hospitality, wellness operations, team leadership and commercial performance. You will set the tone for the spa team and ensure that every treatment, interaction and detail reflects the standard.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa.
- Ensure the spa operates efficiently, professionally and consistently.
- Manage treatment schedules, bookings, room allocation and staff coverage.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene and safety.
- Ensure all equipment, treatment rooms and facilities are maintained to premium standards.
- Recruit, train, supervise and motivate spa therapists and support staff.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
- Establish and maintain professional standards of conduct and service.
- Build a positive, accountable and high-performing spa culture.
- Deliver a personalized, discreet and exceptional spa experience.
- Understand member preferences and ensure continuity of care.
- Handle member concerns and service recovery professionally.
- Monitor feedback and identify opportunities to improve the member journey.
- Ensure the spa experience aligns with the wider facility brand.
- Drive spa revenue and achieve agreed financial targets.
- Develop strategies to increase treatment bookings, memberships and repeat visits.
- Promote relevant treatments, packages and wellness experiences.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance, utilization and profitability.
- Manage spa products, equipment and consumables.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate procurement and stock control.
- Maintain appropriate cost controls while protecting service quality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene requirements.
- Maintain appropriate operational and staff documentation.
- Establish and monitor treatment protocols and service standards.
- Ensure all therapists and staff adhere to professional and operational guidelines.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Spa Management, Hospitality, Wellness, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience, including experience managing a spa, wellness center, luxury hotel spa or premium beauty/wellness environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing a service team.
- Strong understanding of spa treatments, wellness services and operational standards.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and manage operational costs.
- Excellent communication, leadership and customer-service skills.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, health and safety standards.
- Must be polished, presentable, discreet and passionate about luxury wellness.
