A Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, creating a positive impression of the organization. This role involves handling administrative tasks, managing communication, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations at the front desk.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
  • Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide information to visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Assist with visitor sign-in processes and issue visitor badges.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Forward messages and emails to the relevant staff members promptly.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service for both in-person and telephone


  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and


  • Keep track of staff members' availability and inform them of scheduled


  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Assist in organizing meetings and events as needed.


  • Previous experience in a receptionist or secretary role is preferred.
  • Must have a first Degree
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, including phone systems and computers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
