Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fashion company. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing production, supply chain, inventory, and overall workflow to ensure that our products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the fashion industry.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Oversee the entire production process from design to final product.
  • Ensure production schedules are met and that products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with designers, manufacturers, and suppliers to manage production timelines and budgets.

Supply Chain and Inventory Management:

  • Manage the supply chain, including sourcing materials and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overproduction.
  • Implement inventory control systems to track and manage stock levels, orders, sales, and deliveries.


Quality Control:

  • Develop and enforce quality control standards to maintain product consistency and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities and finished products.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues or defects in a timely manner.


Logistics and Distribution:

  • Oversee the logistics of product distribution, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution processes.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts as needed.


Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the operations team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.


Financial Oversight:

  • Prepare and manage budgets for production, inventory, and logistics.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior management.


Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the fashion industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
