Head of Logistics

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor day-to-day logistics operations including packaging, warehousing, and last- mile delivery across all regions of Ghana.
• Plan, review, and approve delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain and manage strong relationships with third-party delivery partners, regional managers, and local supervisors.
• Ensure that all hubs and warehouses operate according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Lead the logistics team across various regions, providing training, support, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of all customer orders.
• Evaluate the productivity of logistics teams and delivery partners to meet performance benchmarks.
• Organize and oversee rider onboarding and continuous training sessions.
• Provide detailed and regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and delivery metrics.
• Continuously review and improve logistics strategies, processes, and tools to increase operational efficiency.
• Identify and establish partnerships with third-party logistics stakeholders to scale operations.
• Strategically scale rider capacity, open new hubs, and implement logistics system upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure logistics aligns with organizational goals and client needs.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in logistics management, preferably in logistics, transportation, or e-commerce sectors.
